This is a great app, but, the Declination is backwards and can lead to significant errors. For example, in Northern Virginia USA, a true bearing of 360 degrees should translate into a magnetic bearing of 010 (the Declination is 10 West). GPS Essentials yields a magnetic bearing of 350.
I’m a pilot of 40+ years and one thing I’m fairly certain I know how to do is convert true to magnetic.
I’ve sent a message to the developer but have received no response.
