Q – Why isn’t Vaulty requesting a password?
A – Always exit Vaulty by pressing the back button. This will guarantee that it is entirely closed.
Q – Why isn’t my password working?
A – Simply uninstall and reinstall Vaulty. Uninstalling will not affect the media you have stored in the vault.
Q – Where do pictures and videos go when I unvault them?
A – Make sure you are giving Vaulty long enough to unvault the media before exiting the app. Also, try turning your phone off and then back on. That may help your phone’s gallery find the media you unvaulted.
Q – How do I zoom?
A – While viewing images, press and hold on the picture you would like to enlarge and select “View Image.”
Q – Why does Vaulty need messaging permissions?
A – The messaging permissions that this app requires are for phones that can add media to the vault directly from picture messages. It would force close without this permission on those devices.
Q – Why does Vaulty need Internet permissions?
A – The Internet permissions are only used to show ads. Including ads in Vaulty allows it to be free and unlimited. If you like Vaulty but don’t want the ads, try the paid version. It’s called ‘Hide Pictures in “Stocks” app’ and also includes a few other improvements such as no adds and the ability to rotate hidden images. You can find it by selecting “View more applications” below. Because the paid version of Vaulty doesn’t show ads, it doesn’t request the Internet permission.
Q – Can anyone else see my pictures or videos?
A – No. They are only stored on your phone’s SD card and are never uploaded or saved anywhere else.
Q – If I change phones can I just install Vaulty again and access my images and videos?
A – As long as you use the same SD card or copy the contents of your old SD card to your new one.
